Laboratory stand for visualization and testing of the fluidization process involving gas and liquid (two independent circuits).

The setup allows for visual observation of changes occurring in the granular bed during fluid flow through it (the bed placed in a transparent tube resistant to mechanical action of grains) and the alteration and measurement of the volumetric flow rate of fluid through this bed using a rotameter with a valve. Additionally, it is possible to measure the pressure drop during flow through the bed using the attached liquid manometer.

The design of the bed allows for easy and quick replacement of granular material in the observation tubes. During the design of the setup, every effort was made to ensure that the flow of liquid and gas is as pulsation-free as possible. Both circuits include a hydraulic accumulator and a buffer tank. The circuits are equipped with a compressor and a water pump operating in a closed loop.

Three types of granular material are included with the setup.
