The station is used to conduct experiments related to laminar and turbulent flow of liquids around various wing profiles, aircraft models and geometric figures.

The setup consists of:

• a hydraulic (water) part designed to create a steady laminar stream of water with a specified flow rate;
• a measurement part, which includes the drives of the model (azimuth and elevation) and a three-axis head for measuring forces acting on the model;
• a part for generating multicolored jets for visualizing flows;
• an auxiliary part, which includes water filtration systems, a camera for recording experiments, and a computer with specialized software.
