Developed on behalf of a commercial company, this industrial device for sintering parts is in fact an automatic press with adjustable ram speed and pressure force, as well as visualisation of the powder sintering process.

The device is used to perform industrial sintering under various, strictly controlled conditions (vacuum, protective atmosphere, temperature, pressure). The measurement and recording of these conditions ensures full repeatability of processes, and the automation of work cycles enables comfortable operation of the device. The chamber is designed to carry out processes at temperatures up to 1900°C. The chamber housing has internal thermal screens. The chamber walls are equipped with a water jacket with closed cooling. 

The chamber is equipped with:

• an inspection window on the front doors for observing the process;
• an inlet for working gases for sintering in a protective atmosphere;
• vacuum ports for interchangeable induction heating coils and ports for connecting the SPS power supply;

The entire process is managed by an industrial controller. Additionally, a industrial computer with an operator panel is installed in the control cabinet, serving only for visualizing the course of the process (variable preview, video preview, logging) and for setting parameters (process parameters, controlling virtual buttons). The system allows for the registration of the main parameters occurring during the process and displays them in the form of graphs. The system is equipped with a programmable timing system that allows for the termination of a given process after a specified time interval.
