The strength testing machine, designed as a device with a very wide measurement range and high accuracy, is intended for precise testing of the strength properties of materials. The modernisation of the device was carried out on behalf of the Pedagogical University of Krakow.
The device is equipped with an industrial controller that manages measurement cycles: constant speed, variable speed, constant load, relaxation, multiple cycles. In addition, the device is equipped with an industrial computer with an operator panel (touch screen) used to visualise the course of cycles (variable preview, recording) and to set parameters: traverse speed, deformation speed, force, temperature, stress, parameters related to cyclic deformation. The system allows the recording of parameters occurring during cycles. The machine is equipped with a vacuum chamber furnace.
