ELBIT monitored 11 infiltration wells at the water intake facility for the city of Tarnów.

The following measuring equipment was installed in each well:

SG-25/xx/ measuring probe (various lengths depending on the depth of the well);
CZU1-I current signal converter for MODBUS network;
KAL-A1 calorimetric flow sensor;
CZU1-I current signal converter for MODBUS network;
two limit switches mounted at the well entrance hatch as intrusion sensors;
flood sensor signalling when the water level exceeds the platform;
CZU1-U voltage signal converter for the MODBUS network for signal transmission from the switches;
new cabling inside the well, including new switchboards;
a galvanic separation and ESD protection module was additionally installed at the cable outlet of each well.

In the measurement cabinet at the infiltration pumping station, the following components were installed:

• a galvanic separation and ESD protection module on the network signal connecting all wells;
• a PCMCIA RS422/RS485 communication card TSXSCP114;
• a V60 readout panel for visualizing measurement data;
• an intrusion alarm for the well (sound signal, light).

The signal from the well was routed to the pumping station and then distributed to the Tarnowskie network server using an existing telephone cable, with ASIX software installed. Appropriate changes were also made to the software of all ASIX stations.
