The station is used to test the strength properties of thermostatic valve heads in situ.

Functionally, the station consists of a system that forces the specified actual water circulation conditions and mechanical systems for applying a specific torque and bending moment.

The entire measurement process is partially automated and performed under the supervision of a computer programme, which records the test and generates a test card.

Each element of the test bench, i.e. the mechanical part, the electrical system and

the software, was developed by Elbit.
