The stand is used to conduct experiments related to water turbines and to determine their characteristics.

The device consists of a system that forces water circulation in the setup, two interchangeable water turbines, and a power generator system with variable load. Measurement sensors are located at key points in the system. The controller has the capability to record data to a computer and allows for remote control. The main component of the water installation is a tank with a capacity of 300 liters, integrated into the main frame of the setup. The water outlet is located at the bottom of the tank and is connected to the pump inlet via pipes with a diameter of 5/4’. A water gauge is installed at the front of the tank to indicate the tank's fill level. At the bottom of the setup, there is a SKA 4.03 type water pump with a motor rated at 2.2 kW.
