The tangential shear strength testing machine for pre-insulated pipes is a device for testing shear strength. The test consists of measuring the force causing damage at the interface between the layers during the rotation of the pipe and the protective jacket in opposite directions. The tangential force is applied by two levers symmetrically attached to a special jacket pipe clamp. The force is applied perpendicular to the levers.
