Device data sheet in PDF format
The MO1 radio modem is used to archive and transmit data packets via radio over short distances (up to two kilometres). Accepted data can be in Modbus RTU standard or as natural digital data (transmission is then initiated after detecting the ‘Enter’ character).
Radio modems have their own unique addresses and, thanks to a built-in retransmission mechanism, can be used to build a network with a range much greater than that of a single radio modem.
The modems are factory-tuned and do not require adjustment. However, it is possible to change many parameters, such as the channel, address, transmission speed, transmitter power, etc. The MO1 radio modem can be adapted to be powered from an external source of direct voltage, which should be in the range of 10V to 30V, or it may have a built-in 24V direct voltage power supply, the output of which can be used to power sensors connected to the radio modem. The radio modem has built-in protection against reverse polarity of the power supply and a built-in set of surge protection components to protect the electronics from surges occurring on the RS485/RS232 bus.
The modems have a large data memory, in which it is possible to store many measurements. It is possible to configure the modem so that it operates independently, polling the connected device at specified intervals (with a built-in RTC calendar chip) and storing the data. Reading and deleting this data can occur periodically via radio.
