The special press with pulsed force dosing is mainly used for sintering powders at high temperatures and in a controlled atmosphere. This press was commissioned by the A. Krukowski Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow. The press is equipped with a double-acting actuator, which allows for both compression and tension processes. The entire process is managed by an industrial controller. In addition, an industrial computer with an operator panel (touch screen) is installed in the control cabinet to visualise the process (variable preview, recording) and to set parameters (process parameters, virtual button control).

The press system allows the recording of the main parameters occurring during the process and their display in the form of graphs. The system is also equipped with a software-based timing system that allows a given process to be switched off after a specified time interval.
