The apparatus for static seismic testing has been designed in accordance with the AAMA 501-4 standard. It is used to apply precisely defined mechanical forces and record them.

Functionally, the apparatus consists of two hydraulic actuators with a flow synchroniser and a control system that allows any movements to be applied and programmed using a specially developed computer programme.

Each component of the apparatus, i.e. mechanical clamps, hydraulic power supply, actuators with measuring systems, electrical switchboard and software, was developed by Elbit.
