The stand is used to conduct tests, determine characteristics
and set the constant of compression and tension springs.
Both types of springs are tested with the same force transducer, except that tension springs are placed on the left side of the transducer and compression springs on the right.
The station can be used independently or connected to a computer via a USB link as a remote device.
