An industrial controller managing the basic functions of the device (motion control, measurement data processing, etc.) has been installed in the stand developed on behalf of an external company. The device is accompanied by a computer application used to record and visualise measurement data, perform calculations and set control data.
In its basic configuration, the device functions as a classic strength testing machine. A cylinder mounted on a rigid frame allows compressive or tensile forces to be applied to the sample and the forces and positions to be measured.
As an additional feature, the device serves as a cyclic breaking force setter.
