The station is used to conduct experiments related to wind turbines and determine their characteristics.
The station consists of a drive system in the form of a high-performance fan with an inverter and control systems, a two-meter wind tunnel with a straightener and guide vane for shaping the airflow, and interchangeable wind turbines.
All turbine operating parameters, such as rotational speed, voltage, current, and power output, are measured and transmitted to a dedicated computer application where they can be saved as an Excel file.
